My Top 10 Birchbox Finds

I have had a birchbox subscription since February of this year and have loved it for the most part. A few things I love about it are that (1) I can try out new makeup samples every month, (2) the samples are small enough that they are perfect for travel, (3) I don’t feel the need to go on makeup purchasing sprees every month because I am getting new makeup already. :)
So, here are some products that, through Birchbox, I have found and LOVED. (P.S. – In case you were wondering, this is NOT a sponsored post. I simply wanted to share my favorite products I have received through Birchbox.)

1. Cynthia Rowley Beauty Liquid Liner: I love felt tip liquid liner and this one didn’t fail my expectations, except that its not as waterproof as my favorite liquid liner: Stila’s Stay All Day Liquid Liner. Cynthia Rowley’s liner went on smoothly and was beautifully pigmented.

2. Juicy Couture La La Malibu: I am not a huge fan of deep musky scents at all, and this one was nice because although it was a bit musky, it was also sweet which I loved.

3. Agave Healing Oil Treatment: OH MY GAWSH. This stuff. I used every last drop that I could of the sample. If you are looking for a good hair oil, I HIGHLY recommend this.

4. KIND Healthy Grain Bars: I know this is weird to be on my Birchbox finds but every month they send you a “lifestyle” favorite. They sent me the maple pumpkin seed one, I believe. I had always meant to try these bars out and hadn’t, so I’m glad they sent one to me cause it was delish.

5. Pixi by Petra Shea Butter Lip Balm (in Coral Crush): I was a little doubtful about this at first because I never wear coral lip colors, however I really liked this one. Its moisturized and added color, but the coral wasn’t a bright obnoxious coral.

6. Smashbox Photofinish Foundation Primer: For some reason I had never tried the Smashbox primers even though I hear such amazing things about them. I found that they live up to the hype. I actually purchased this after I went through the sample, but I bought the “light” version. I HIGHLY recommend this. Even if you have a day where you don’t want to wear makeup, I would suggest using this (pat/wipe, not just wipe on your face so you don’t just wipe all the product off) on its own or with concealer because it smooths out your face beautifully.

7. Vasanti Brighten Up! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator: Wow, that’s a mouthful. Basically it’s a facial scrub with TINY, TINY little scrubbies (haha I have no idea what they’re called… um abrasive pieces? IDK.) I LOVE IT. I use it in the shower, when my pores are open from the steaming water, and it really gets down in your pores and cleans them out. I notice a difference the next morning in how brighter my complexion looks.

8. Davines Ol/All in One Milk: I wasn’t sure quite what “hair milk” was, and I still have no idea, but I’d apply it to my hair after I got out of the shower. My hair was definitely a lot more smooth after using it. I squeezed out every drop and since it was a sample size and I have long hair… well it didn’t last long… haha.

9. Coastal Scents Revealed 2 Palette Set: Birchbox sent me a trial size of four of the colors from this new palette and OMG, LOVE. I have never gotten compliments on my eyeshadow before I used it. I still use this whenever I need a makeup pick-me-up day.

10. theBalm Stainiac: The cool thing about this past month is they asked us to pick from four samples for our box so essentially I got to pick this sample. I am super happy about my pick because it didn’t disappoint. I have wanted to try out a lip/cheek stain for a while and I’m so happy I was able to with my Birchbox.
I hope you guys enjoyed this post. I love Birchbox, so let me know if you have a Birchbox subscription and if you do, what your favorites you’ve gotten from it are. :)
                                                                 Thanks lovelies, Kirsten
